Privacy Policy
Your wardrobe — and your face, if you add one — is personal. This policy says plainly what deadrip processes, why, for how long, and how you stay in control. The short version: we don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and nobody trains AI on your photos.
1. Who we are
deadrip is operated by Maksym Zakhliupa, an individual entrepreneur (FOP) registered in Ukraine (“deadrip”, “we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected] with “Privacy” in the subject.
2. What we process and why
We don’t use analytics or advertising SDKs, don’t track you across apps or websites, and the website sets no cookies (see the Cookie Policy).
3. Guest mode and cloud
Without an account, your wardrobe lives only on your iPhone and nothing reaches our servers unless you start an online feature. With an account, the data you sync is stored in our private cloud so you can restore it on a new phone.
4. AI and your photos
- AI runs only when you tap it — Smart Fill, studio shots and looks are never started in the background, except Auto Smart Fill if you switch it on.
- Requests are processed by Google’s Gemini API on a paid plan. Under Google’s terms for paid services, your prompts and images are not used to train or improve Google’s models; Google may keep them for a limited period to detect abuse.
- We do not use your photos, character references or results to train any model, and we don’t use them in marketing.
- Generated images are yours to keep and share; we claim no rights in them.
5. Who we share data with
Only with providers that run a feature you use, acting on our instructions:
- Cloudflare — API, database, private file storage, security and logs.
- Google (Gemini API) — AI requests you start.
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases and subscriptions, WeatherKit.
We don’t sell or rent personal data. We may disclose data if the law requires it, or to a successor if deadrip is transferred — under this policy.
These providers may process data outside Ukraine and the EEA, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards offered by the provider.
6. How long we keep data
- Your account and cloud wardrobe — while your account exists.
- Deleting your account (Profile → Data & cloud) removes your account, synced data and stored images immediately. Copies in provider backups and caches are gone within 30 days.
- Technical logs and cached AI results — up to 30 days.
- Sync history — up to 90 days, so a phone that was offline can catch up.
- Purchase records — only as long as tax, accounting or refund rules require.
7. Your rights
You can edit or clear anything in the app, export your data, withdraw consent (delete a character or clear profile fields, turn off location), and delete your account. You may also ask us to access, correct, erase, restrict or port your data, or object to processing. We answer within one month.
You can complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, or to the data-protection authority where you live, work or think an infringement happened.
8. Security
Encrypted connections, private storage, short-lived access tokens, per-account access checks and rate limits. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
9. Children
deadrip is not for children under 13, or under the older age your country sets for consenting to online services (up to 16 in the EEA). We don’t knowingly collect their data and will delete it if we learn of it.
10. Changes
We’ll post updates here with a new date, and tell you in the app before a change that reduces your rights takes effect.
